Our Principles for teaching languages

Teaching languages is not a recipe to follow; it is about principles. Brown & Lee (2015) present a set of principles of language learning and teaching such as automaticity, identity, self-regulation and agency, among others (p. 85). These principles are related to the construct of processing, emotion and affect, self-awareness and cross-linguistic influence.
